Extra thoughts on Madrid

We saw lots of people making out in Madrid.
The Madrid subway system is the best that we experienced, spacious cars, air conditioning, easy to follow routes/map.
But the most extraordinary thing of all...We met some people at a bar that were touring an experimental theatre show about...making gingerbread houses. Yes, its true. The show was 1 1/2 hours long and involved the group making a gingerbread house from scratch (mixing ingredients, baking, contruction, decoration) and then at the end a huge disco ball falls on top of it. WHAT? I asked if there was some sort of message- the guy I was talking to looked pensive for a moment then shrugged his shoulders, "No, I don't think so." Amazingly, this group is on a European tour.
